From the installer to the first NDI signal in vMix in a few minutes.
Getting started
Five steps to get started.
-
01
Run the installer
Run SRTServer_Setup as administrator. It will ask for the installation key (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and your purchase email: you have them in your client area and in the purchase email. It includes everything you need, NDI 6 Runtime and FFmpeg too.
-
02
Activate your license
On first launch enter your email and your LIC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX license. Activation binds it to that PC; you can move it to another one from your client area.
-
03
Set up a channel
Click «Add channel»: choose SRT (port 9001 onwards, caller or listener mode and encryption key) or RTMP/RTMPS (9000 or 9443, with stream key). In Settings, «Open the channel ports in the firewall…» opens your channels' ports.
-
04
Send from the encoder
Copy the channel card's «Address for the encoder» and paste it into vMix, OBS or your hardware unit. If it comes from outside your network, forward the port on the router.
-
05
Receive in vMix and sync
Add the NDI source in vMix. Adjust sync frame by frame or sync every camera with your phone (see the sync guide).
