New version available! (v2.5.3)
SRT Server

How it works

From anywhere
to your production.

SRT Server runs on your production PC. Your remote cameras send their signal over the internet and it turns them into NDI sources for vMix.

The full workflow

Five steps, done once.

The first setup takes a few minutes. After that, every show is open and produce.

  1. 01
    Windows 10/11

    Install SRT Server

On the production PC, with your installation key. The installer includes everything you need.

  2. 02
    Port · mode · key · delay

    Set up the channels

For each camera you choose port, SRT mode (caller or listener), encryption key and delay. The App opens the ports in the Windows firewall.

  3. 03
    SRT · RTMP

    Send from the source

On the remote encoder —vMix, OBS, a hardware unit or a 4G/5G backpack— point to the IP and port of the channel.

  4. 04
    Manual or with your phone

    Sync

Adjust the delay frame by frame or sync with your phone: open its page, show it to each camera for a few seconds and apply the delays the App suggests.

  5. 05
    NDI 6 in vMix

    Produce

Each channel shows up in vMix as an NDI source. Add intercom, tally and recording with the modules.

What you need

Just enough to get started.

A Windows PC

Windows 10/11 64-bit, ideally with an NVIDIA graphics card.

A good connection

Enough upload at the source and download at the control room.

vMix or other NDI software

Signals arrive as standard NDI 6 sources.

A license

Perpetual per channel or monthly with every module.

Remote production

Cameras at the venue.
Control room, wherever you want.

With SRT, signals travel reliably over the internet, recovering lost packets. That lets you produce from your studio an event happening in another city, with minimal crew on site.

  • Less travel and less gear
  • The same quality control as in the studio
  • Intercom and tally even when you are far apart

SRT Server

Remote production,
zero friction.

Pick your plan, download the installer and receive your first remote signal in minutes.
