What a license is
A license gives you the right to use a program on one PC at a time, according to what you purchased. You do not buy the program itself, which remains its owner's. Your licenses, their keys and their invoices are always in your client area on srtserver.app. The purchase terms are in the License and sale terms, and each program also includes its own end-user license agreement.
SRT Server · license types
Perpetual license by number of SRT channels: Normal (1), Plus (up to 4) and Pro (up to 8, with every module). It never expires. Monthly Pro: up to 8 channels and every module, while you keep the subscription. Community Manager only: monthly, only the Community Manager module.
Normal and Plus licenses can add modules (Intercom, Tally Web, TC Record, Web Streaming, Community Manager or all of them at once) with a one-time payment: they stay on the license forever. TC Record includes the vMix, Roland and ATEM loggers. The «unlimited» SAMedia connection service is a separate monthly subscription linked to a license.
SRT Server · installation and activation
With each license you receive an installation key (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), valid for one installation, and the license (LIC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), which is activated on a PC when you open the App. To install again, click «Release key» in your client area.
The App checks the license over the internet and, once activated, works for up to 7 days offline; it renews itself when it connects again. To move the license to another PC, release it from your client area («Release PC») or from the App itself and activate it on the new one. If you replace the motherboard or reinstall Windows, release it first.
SRT Server · updates
Updates are included while the license is valid. The App announces each new version, shows what is new and installs it by itself after checking its signature.
MeetOut · license
MeetOut is used with a monthly subscription per PC. When you subscribe on the MeetOut page we email you the license, usually within a few hours on business days, and you also have it in your client area. Paste it into MeetOut when asked and click «Activate».
Each license is activated on one PC at a time. To change PCs, deactivate it on the previous one («Your license» window › «Deactivate on this computer»); uninstalling MeetOut also releases it. MeetOut checks the license over the internet and can work for up to 7 days offline; joining Zoom meetings of other accounts needs a connection at that moment.
The license is active while the subscription is up to date. If you cancel it, it stays active until the end of the paid month and is then deactivated. Updates are included for as long as the subscription lasts.
What is not allowed
For both programs: copying, reselling, renting or transferring the program or the licenses; sharing license or installation keys; reverse engineering, decompiling them or bypassing the license system. A license used this way may be deactivated.
Third-party components
SRT Server and MeetOut use third-party components, each under its own license, such as the NDI® SDK. NDI® is a registered trademark of Vizrt NDI AB (ndi.video). MeetOut also uses the Zoom Meeting SDK, Open Media Transport (OMT) and Microsoft WebView2; their full list is in the «About MeetOut» window and in the THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt file installed with the program.
Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoho Meeting, vMix, OBS, TriCaster and the other trademarks mentioned belong to their owners; SRT Server and MeetOut are independent products, not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
